How to set up BGW320-500 so that I can use my Netgear Nighthawk RS6900 router.

We just had a BGW320-500 installed and I want to be able to use my Netgear router. I am not sure what I need to do to be able to use it. On a side note both pieces of equipment are using 192.168.1.254. Right now that is pointing to the BGW320 which means that I am unable to access the admin screens for the Netgear router.

Put the bgw320 in ip passthrough. The router should get a different lan ip than the gateway. If it doesn’t, change the lan ip to 192.168.2.xx

Do I need to turn off wifi radios on the bgw320?

In access point mode, no. In ip passthrough, yes.

I have a Cisco VPN wired router I want to use for my wired connections, but still use the BGW320-505 for wifi.  Should I set as IP passthrough or Access point mode? Can I use IP Pass Through and still leave the wifi radios on?
