How to fully disable packet filtering and firewalling on BGW320
Hi all,
I am a relatively new AT&T Fiber customer. I have a /29 block of static IPs that I am hoping to use to host various services. I have been very frustrated with the BGW320 gateway. Apart from the crazy way that AT&T implements static IPs, the gateway also does things that make no sense.
The specific problem I'm now having is that, having finally figured out to get my static IPs set up, the router is now dropping all inbound traffic despite being configured not to do so. I have turned off all firewall rules, disabled packet filters, and even tried creating a "pass filter" that explicitly allowed traffic to my /29 static IP block. None of it prevents inbound traffic from being blocked:

Note the "generic discards" lines. The address in line 39 is the WAN IP of my firewall, which is behind the AT&T device and is of course why I don't want the gateway blocking things. That's the firewall's job.
Here's my config:

Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong? I just want this blasted gateway to get out of the way and let me use the Internet.
Thanks for any help!

I don't see why I should have to pay a support fee to make something this basic work. Hard pass.

I've now run to the end of AT&T support and they can't fix my problem. I am calling to cancel tomorrow and get someone else's service.
IF YOU NEED STATIC IPS, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
I've wasted countless hours on this and have reached my limit.

(Edited per community guidelines) ATT, but static IPs you can configure right on whatever device that needs them.
Look up guides and support for that device instead.
DHCP reserve is better than static on a modem/router tbh

I share this kindness because they share a good rate for my home internet. Tech IQ is irrelevant to me.
