How to connect a second router to my AT&T gateway and give it a second IP address
Hi,
I just purchased a TPlink AC1900 Archer A8 router that I would like to connect to my AT&T gateway. The reason for this is that I was for some reason banned from tinder and they are very strict about VPNs, IP addresses when trying to get back on (They block my account automatically if I make a new account using my wifi or a VPN. I have taken the other necessary steps to get back on, but want a network in my home that I can connect my phone to where my old IP address will not be detected. What settings will I need to configure on my AT&T gateway and if you have the information, my Archer router as well.

You cannot get second public IP from your own router under residential plan.
but you can setup a so called "IP Passthrough" to pass the fiber gateway public ip address to your second router (also downgrade the service).
Also, there are lot of inbound ports are blocked by at&t , almost any known protocols ports from VPN, email, RDP are blocked by at&t..
even inbound port TLS/SSL port 443 and PPTP port 1723 are blocked to make your life miserable

It is indeed possible to get additional IP addresses (a block of 5 public static addresses), but there is a monthly fee. AT&T does block some ports, and some VPN protocols will have issues negotiating their way around the Gateway in some configurations, but most of what cgigate said above is untrue. Go to this page to get the scoop on what AT&T does with traffic.
@cgigate would you mind sticking to the facts for a while? If you continue to post half- and un-truths, those posts will not stay and you risk being banned.

@JefferMC
Are you trying to lie here on behalf of at&t to spread false information ?
What I said was 100% true. there are bunch of inbound ports are blocked (almost any known protocols include email, NTP etc. very few of them are list here https://about.att.com/sites/broadband/network , also many of them are not published such as TCP/UPD port 443 and port 1723, RDP port 3389 that is terrible .
I was on Spectrum, there is no known inbound ports were blocked, I could send email from my home email service, remote access my home service from external
