how to add a printer to home network that requires a wired connection?

router bgw210 is the router and the printer is a HP officjet 6310... any suggestions or a link to instructions would be greatly appreciated.  thanks

Connect an Ethernet cable (CAT5 or better) to the printer's Ethernet port and the other end to one of the BGW's yellow ports.

Power on the printer and give it a minute or two to become ready.

Then install the HP software for the printer on your computers and select wired connection when prompted.  The software will look on the network, find the printer and finish the install.

For devices like phones and tablets, download the HP Smart app and it will find the printer too.

Thank you. I will need to get that cable tomorrow. It only come with a USB for a connector, I have had this one for a while but works perfectly. Thanks again
