How do I set guest WiFi to have No Password

I have ATT UVerse 1gig service, it connected thru a Pace 5268AC router/modem. (I have Internet, TV, VOIP)

I need to set up the Guest WiFi to have NO password, auto login. How do I set it up...?

I have a IoT device that needs to auto login to the WiFi to get set up... so I can't have a password on the Guest WiFi..

Is there documentation on setting up Guest WiFi with no Password?  I can't seem to configure it for no password... suggestions or recommendations welcome.

Cheers,

Regarding public guest Wi-Fi access, I go to my router's IP address via my browser, set guest to "Enable" and security or whatever that setting is to "Disable."

The 5268 has three WiFi networks:

5GHz (by default both the 2.4 and 5GHz have the same SSID)

2.4GHz (by default both the 2.4 and 5GHz have the same SSID)

Guest (by default this is disabled)

Log into your modems GUI using the address 192.168.1.254 listed on your modem, as well as the device access code and enable the guest network.

Me personally, I wouldn't want an open network on my modem.

What's wrong with just having all the devices hop on the normal networks? You only have to type the password in once and they remember.

Thanks for the response.. but My requirement is to get an IoT board logging
onto my WiFi network... I don't have a user interface to the IoT to type in
said password... so what I need to know is can i set up the Guest network
which by ATT documentation is isolated from the 192.168.1.0 or whatever I
chose... without a password so I can get my IoT connected? I understand the
repercussions of what I'm asking, I a ICS CyberSecurity Architect... Or do
I need to set up another Wireless router that can be set up as an open
network on a unique IP address/VLAN and go that route....

Hey "Paris" from @ATTU-verseCare, why would you need to take the customer offline for a procedure that should just be documentation?  Please follow up with the documented procedure in this thread, if you don't mind.  That way the community posts can be a continuing resource.

@BillWEvans, I don't understand how you can set up the SSID the device will connect to without a GUI, but you can't set up a passphrase?

Yeah I use ATT and I can enable my guest channel but there's no way to broadcast it without a password. How can I do this ? Im in the same browser enabled wifi configuration page but it doesn't have the option to disable the security as per your comment.
