How can I identify my router?

I need to identify my router.  I have a gateway -- but don't think that's it.  I have several receivers for TVs.  And there are little black boxes and two wi-fi extenders.  None of these appear to be routers....so does that mean I don't have one?    I have an electronic door lock that runs through batteries in just a few days and kwikset says it could be an incompatibility with my router.

Your gateway, is a combination of router / modem, is likely black unless you have one that is more than 6 years old.

Possible models that support Uverse IPTV receivers include 3800, 3801, 3812 (inid), 589, 599, 5268, 210-700.

Your router is your gateway, unless you purchased a different unit and set it behind the gateway.
