Help setting up TP-Link Deco AX3600 with Fiber
Hi everyone,
Got Fiber installed today and opted to start with 500mbps speeds. Unfortunately, the Gateway had to go down in the laundry room which is kind of in a corner. I'm seeing mostly good speeds, but the upstairs half of the house where my office and bedroom is, is a bit slower and I'd like to get closer to advertised speeds (I'm getting about 260mbps in my office and in the 100s in my bedrooms). My router with Spectrum was able to be centrally located upstairs and I got better speeds throughout the house, typically.
Given that, I just ordered a two-piece mesh system (TP-Link Deco W7200 AX3600) in hopes of maximizing coverage. I intend to plug one into the Gateway, obviously, and put the other where I currently have my router.
Anyway, I have done some reading and I know this question has been asked a ton of times, but is there anywhere I can find a straightforward, step by step process for this specific mesh system (or is it the same for them all)? I think after some reading, I'd like to completely bypass the Gateway and use the TP-Link system in effort to take full advantage of its features.
Appreciate any insight!

Hi there, @Jxpc. We're here to help get your equipment set up and running properly!
Thanks to @browndk26 for the helpful suggestion you shared.
As our ACE stated, the process for setting up IP Passthrough should be the same for all third party devices. Here's what to do:
Run your Web browser application, such as Firefox and Chrome, from the computer connected to the BGW320.
Enter http://192.168.1.254 in the Location text box.
Click the IP Passthrough tab and configure your settings.
We've also got a great article that's full of tips and tricks for optimizing your Internet speed.
Along with that, you can use the Smart Home Manager to check for Wi-Fi weak spots in your home. To accomplish this, follow these steps:
