Help connecting Air 4920 to BGW210.

I have the ATT BGW210-700 modem/router.  Just got two of the Air ties 4920 extenders.  I have wired ethernet throughout the house so I want to put each of the 4920's in the farthest location from the BGW210.

I am assuming I can connect these up to wired ethernet???

No instructions were in the box on setting them up and I haven't been able to find anything searching.

To get a "mesh" network won't I need to somehow make each 4920 the same SSID and password as my BGW210?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

Yeah, they can.

Correct. The easiest way to do this is as follows:

- Plug 1 AirTie into its desired location / ethernet feed

- Power the unit on

- Wait 5-10 minutes

You'll know its configured onto the the network when:

"AirTies" disappears from the availble WiFi networks (because it's now the SSID and password of your modem now)

Solid power light, solid 2.4GHz light, Solid 5GHz light [will blip off every 5 seconds for a fraction of a second]

Then repeat the process for the second unit.

Thanks 192.  Worked perfectly.  I was certain I would have to somehow configure something to get it to work.

I appreciate your time.
