Gateway Connection Lost June 2022

The SmartHome app says my gateway connection is lost, so I can’t see and manage all our devices. AND I can’t see my extenders the tech installed for me (probably bc they’re not from AT&T?). I have reset the router using the button and by unplugging it. Deleted and reinstalled the app. Cleared all the caches. Followed the instructions from the other posts about this issue.

Why can’t I re-establish the connection?

We would suggest that you try factory resetting your router to see if that helps.

  • Also check out our troubleshooting tips that can help with your Wifi extender connection. This will let us know if we need to take a fiurther step.
  • What color are the lights on the device when trying to connect? This will let us know if your device is trying to connect.
  • Every light on your Wi-Fi gateway has a meaning. Learn what each light means and how to use them to troubleshoot network problems.
