Gaming Server Host
Hello,
I'm trying to host a DayZ gaming server on secondary PC. I have gone into Windows Firewall and add an inbound and outbound rule for TCP and UDP for ports 2302-2305 and 27015-27017. I've also gone into NAT/Gaming in my Arris BGW210 gateway and added a service for the same ports. I can get the server to show up on LAN but not in the Community tab of the Steam Launcher and I can even get on the server and play from another PC on my network. If I add a command to the server .cfg steamQueryPort = 2305; my server shows offline and no longer shows up in LAN. When I go to a site that tests ports for an IP address, it shows all of the most common ports as being closed. I even chatted with an Agent at AT&T and I was told that they opened the ports in my gateway. I've restarted my gateway and still cannot get the server to show in the Community tab. It's like port 2305 is forever closed... I even chose IP Passthrough and chose my server PC. Still nothing...
Anyone have any other ideas that I can try?

Who do you envision using this game server?
Have you read and understand the ATT Internet Terms of Service for residential accounts?
https://www.att.com/legal/terms.HSIAAttTermsofService.html
Do you believe your game server would be in violation of the TOS?

@yogdubbz
If you believe you’ve opened up all the correct ports, have a friend that’s on their own internet connection check for you. Loop-back type testing could have unpredictable results.

@gr8sho I've asked some friends to look for the server and they're not seeing it either. No idea what to do next.

@my thoughts no one ever reads every single line of any ToS plus its full of jargon most people won't understand anyways. I chatted with an AT&T customer service agent and told them exactly what I was wanting to do. They never questioned it or even brought up ToS. If there's a specific section you think I should read please point me in that direction.

Hey there @yogdubbz,
We got you, let's get this sorted out as soon as possible.
The steps you've followed seem to be right, and the server should be working, but this issue is common lately and a lot of people have issues with their DayZ sever not showing up on the community tab on Steam.
You can search "DayZ Server not showing on Community tab." on Google and Steam's official community page comes up. You should be able to find a solution to your issue over there.
Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.
Thank you,

Thanks @ATTHelp
It ended up being an issue with forwarding the port. I had to go into my gateway settings and mess around with the forwarding menu. Now it's all good.
