The Red alarm light indicates a low light (laser) signal. It may continue to work in it's current state but you should call 1-800-288-2020 to have a tech visit scheduled to repair the issue.

The CSR will walk you through several steps but if a restart of your "fiber box" which is called an ONT. Any fix will require a tech visit and all you should do to the ONT is power cycle it as there are no customer serviceable parts inside.
