fiber box needs to be removed from sidewalk

Hi! We are building a house and we need to remove the AT&T box that is on the sidewalk so we can cement it. Is there any proper procedure for that or a number we can call? Thanks

Was the box there when bought the lot?

Anything can be moved, but it would be at your expense.

It the box a pedestal, a hand hole, or cement vault?

pics?

Hi, thank you for the quick response. The location of the box is not according to city codes. You can see the box in the picture here.

I am in El Paso, Texas. I believe this is a pedestal.

If the equipment is outside of the Utility Easement, your local tax authorities will have to work with AT&T (or who ever it belongs to) to get it moved.

Here in El Paso the only two companies that are not wireless are Spectrum and AT&T, and Spectrum does not use this kind of ped here. I'll confirm if this is outside the Utility Easement in a minute.

In Wisconsin Spectrum does use that type of pedestal... ATT looks totally different. Is there another pedestal or handhold in the AREA?

For example

We'd be happy to take a closer look at the location of the AT&T pedestal, @Aportas.
