Fiber 2000. Am I getting that?
Just had fiber installed about a week or so ago. I'm pretty happy with it and the wifi speeds. However it occurred to me that I'm just assuming I'm getting the speed I'm paying for. I decided to run a Cat 8 ethernet from the Gateway to one of my computers.
I did 3 separate speed tests and none went over 900Mbps. I did the old test the speed to your Gateway which gave me about 2500 however that really means nothing to me if I'm not getting even close to that when I'm hardwired. Should I be expecting more. Just curious.

The internal speedtest from the gateway to AT&T confirms your fiber speed. But unless you're plugging a device that has an Ethernet chip faster than 1Gbps and you plug that into the blue port on the BGW320, 900Mbps is all you're going to see.
