extender 4921 appears to have failed, no light on front, can't connect to BGW210 router
Hi, Folks, We had a working system with fiber internet, BGW 210 router, and a single 4921 extender. It was working well. Maybe 1-2 months ago (not certain, but maybe in association with power outage?) the extender stopped working. There is no steady green light on back, just blinking eNet light (the extender has a WIRED connection to router). and front has no light at all (not green, white, or red, nothing). There used to be a nice white light on front (I think). Have tried restarting (waiting for a while between power) and recently moved the extender into room with router, tried direct connection with single cable that came with the extender. We never get steady green light in back or any light in front. Is this extender dead? Thanks.

Thanks for moving this.
Update - Called ATT, diagnosed failed extender (yup).
Rep offered to send replacement for just $10 shipping, indicated we could have as many as we wished.
Great, asked for two. Also asked to confirm this would NOT result in monthly fees, was assured it would not...
Next day, got confirmation from ATT that our service was changing, and we would be charged $10/month (and $5 one-time pro-rated).
Nope, not what we were told. Called and cancelled order.
I'll be adding a non-ATT access point, as we are wired to router from other rooms.
Overall - 1.5 hours wasted with phone calls (hold time, discussion time, etc.), problem was NOT resolved to my satisfaction.
It is not a good deal for customers to pay 10/month for ATT extenders. :(
