Download speed capped at less than 10% of upload
I have ATT fiber (1 Gbps) with a Pace 5268ac router. But when I connect a mesh network the download speed is capped at 70 maps while the upload speed is at 940 maps. The is measure from the mesh built in speed test. This happened with both Deco and Orbi mesh networks.
The mesh routers were plugged directly to the ethernet ports on the ATT router.
The ATT router internal speed test has 880 maps download and 920 maps upload.

We're here to help get your internet up to speed, AJjennings!
Thank you, tonydi for the information and assistance regarding those third party products!
If you are wanting to use third party products with your AT&T equipment, we suggest looking into setting up IP Passthrough.
This configuration is often suitable for anyone desiring to connect third party equipment for networking, such as a router, to the AT&T provided gateway. IP Passthrough is also commonly used as an alternative to using a bridged mode.
Note the following before configuring passthrough mode:
The passthrough mode for Pace gateways is referred to as DMZplus mode. The device that you would like to be placed in DMZplus must be connected directly to the gateway and configured to obtain an IP address through DHCP.
This will help get your network set up the way you are wanting, and should prevent the drops in speed you are seeing.
Let us know if this helps!

And just to make sure I'm clear, you've connected the same device directly to one of the Pace Ethernet ports and it gets close to what the internal speed test shows?
Try disabling anything "QoS" related on the mesh router. On the Orbi, also make sure the Traffic Manager is disabled.

Thank you! That worked perfectly. My Orbi was initially locked in a static IP mode but I reset the gateway and am now getting download speeds in the 800 mbps range.
