Does ANYONE actually get gigabit speeds?
Honestly...does anyone get the gigabit speed they pay for?
I'm wired in with a speed of 300mbs...this is 30% of the speed I pay for...
They have sent a technician out twice and both times they essentially shrugged and said that's as good as it gets...
Anyone?

Geeez. Maybe the OP didn't come right out and say it but if he's getting 300Mbps and that's only 30% of what he's paying for, it seems pretty obvious that he's subscribing to the gigabit plan.
And yes, Samarneh, lots of people get the mid-900 speeds a properly working configuration should get.

Haha! Yes and the title also says Gigabit.
My whole neighborhood is complaining of slow speeds. How can I reach someone with authority?

@Samarneh1000,
If you're getting those speeds wired, power cycle your ONT (that's the white box). Unplug the wire that goes in the red plug on your Gateway. Then unplug the white box and wait a few seconds. After a few seconds plug it back in. It will take about a min to boot up, you'll know this completed when you see the power goes light green. When that is done plug in your. Gateway again.
Also, check out some optimization tips we have available for our Gateways, and feel free to utilize our Troubleshoot & Resolve tool for personalized diagnostics.
Hope this helps

If you are using Antivirus disable then run Speedtest it will prob be up towards 930mbps then enable Antivirus and watch it cripple to your current speed. That’s what happened with mine using Avast Antivirus it just slowed it down to filter the traffic.curious if this why for you also.

Is your computer gigabit speed capable? Run the Speedtest in the gateway. If you get 900 plus using that Speedtest, your equipment or AV program(as mentioned above) is the issue.
If the gateway Speedtest is 300, call for a tech Visit.
