Discount for using your own router?
I know the new Fiber setups come with a single modem/router but hypothetically if I had my own modem/router that was up to par with the needs for the fiber line, would I be able to receive a lesser price? The price for the equipment is included in the price so I would assume at the very least a $10 deduction if this is possible. Hope you're having a good day. Cheers.

Bottom line: AT&T internet requires the use of LEASED AT&T equipment.

As skeeterintexas says, AT&T will charge $10. This is regardless of who owns the Gateway. The Gateway will be an AT&T branded device with a security certificate, the only way to obtain one without leasing it from AT&T would be to acquire one that someone else has leased from AT&T and not returned. So, actually, AT&T owns the gateway in all cases.
