Differences & Benefits Between ATT Active Armor and Firewalla
I am have recently been made aware of an external device that is able to provide various network security features and I want to know how it compares to the service that is provided from ATT for home internet users. For background, I current have an ATT BGW320 set up just as my modem and all Wi-Fi duties are handled by my eero mesh network. Recently, they (eero) have started charging $10/month for "advanced security features". The reason I am looking at the firewalla is that there are no monthly fees and it seems to have a good slate of features. The ATT active armor offering is interesting on the base level that it is included in my current subscription.
Does anyone have any insight as it relates to privacy and security with the ATT active armor offering? (I have read as deep as I can through the various user and privacy policies but of course they are clear as mud...)
