Customer installed fire rated board

I received a call from my Credit Union customer. Their building is getting switched over to fiber optic equipment.

The AT&T technician notified her that she will need a 4'x4' fire rated plywood mounted to the wall so they can mount the new fiber optic equipment to it.

So, all I have to do is get a piece of 3/4" fire rated plywood and anchor it to the block wall?

The AT&T technician gave her no other instructions and I can't find anything about it.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -

Fire rated plywood is required by the NEC. If you paint it you're supposed to leave a small corner unpainted so if there's ever an electrical inspection they can see it's fire rate. Some have a brand that says fire rated so just don't paint the brand.
