BGW-320-505 Modem / Router

I just received a new modem that AT&T sent me to replace an older one that was having some service issues however when i log into the new modem (BGW-320-505 ) and try and turn off all wireless features since i use it as a passthrough it gives me the following error "Another client has the SDB write lock". Need to turn off all wireless features since i use my ASUS ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000 as my primary router and wifi network. I have tried to reset it to factory setting several times but it keeps giving me the same error when trying to turn off all wireless features.

SDB is the name for the internal data base used to manage the gateway's settings. The gateway thinks something else is trying to change settings while you are doing so.

Have you tried to do this while leaving the broadband cable disconnected from the gateway (to make sure nothing from AT&T is trying to configure the gateway from the Internet at the same time)?

When you say "I have tried to reset it to factory setting several times", how exactly did you do that/

You may have a defective modem and need to ask AT&T to send a new one to you.

Hello @ChicoMalo44,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let's work on a fix and get the help you need!

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies to see if that clears up the problem with accessing the router user interface.

We also recommend checking out our Smart Home Manager to see if you're having problems with your WIFI, and you can also access the advanced router settings in the Smart Home Manager, as well.

We also recommend you to check the Gateway User Interface for Wi-Fi gateways.

We hope this information is helpful and thanks for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

thank you all but I ended up figuring it after messing with it for an hour. So I was trying to turnoff the wifi settings on the ATT modem while wirelessly being connected via my ASUS router. The ATT modem was blocking the changes thinking it was an external individual trying to make the changes so once I connected my laptop directly to the ATT modem via a wired connection it allowed me to make the changes. All good now. thank you all again for your help.
