BGW320-500 Port Forwarding Not Working
Yes I've searched the forums and yes I've seen the descriptions on how to do it, and I'm doing it properly.
I shouldn't have get a SECOND router and do a passthrough set up for this to work. The AT&T hardware should just do its job properly.
I've factory reset the router, twice. Online port checkers always say the port is closed; and is proved by the fact that no one can see the server (Minecraft in this case) running from the outside.
Is there any resolution to it?

I don't have a second router. Port forward should work on the AT&T device alone.
How do I do this step? If AT&T has port forwarding blocked at the account level, this is certainly the problem:
If you receive a warning message, visit the AT&T Port Forwarding tool to enable port forwarding on your account
Thanks

@ArchV1 , are you 100% sure that the port is actually open for access off the server PC? A quick test would be to try to access it from another PC on your network using the private IP address. If that works, then, you should continue to look at Port Forwarding issues. If that doesn't work, then you need to find out why:
Check to make sure the software is running (start it, check the service, etc.)
You can search the output of "netstat -a" to see if your port shows up as a port being listened to
Check the log of your firewall and/or the configuration to ensure it will pass the traffic.
