This is a customer forum not ATT. And it is not a chat room.

Hi @lizrwell, we understand, and would be glad to help you get this sorted out.
We recommend that you configure IP Passthrough. This configuration is best for customers who want to connect third party equipment for networking, such as a router to the AT&T gateway.
If you're still unable to connect. Please contact the manufacturer support of your 3rd party router.
Hope this information helps! Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.

http://www.devonstephens.com/how-to-enable-ip-passthrough-on-att-bgw320-505/
Turn off the gateway Wi-Fi, firewall and packet filters. Use the eero for Wi-Fi and firewall. Restart the eero after setting up ip passthrough.

I am going to try this and if it works, I will be overjoyed. What a nightmare!

If you have problems after setting up ip passthrough, you may need to check some Eero forums.
