ATT WiFi extenders red blinking lights

We have been using AT&T WiFi extenders for almost a year. This week the extenders have Red Blinking lights. Both of them.

Took them out, placed them close to the Gateway router. Turned them on. Observed the Green blinking lights. Pressed WPS on Gateway and WPS on Extender. The green blinking lights turn into Red Blinking lights. Tried this for both extenders. Internet Fiber service is up and running.

I then took a Internet Cable and hooked the internet cable directly from GateWay Router to the extender. Turned on the Extender. Green Blinking lights turned into Red Blinking lights even this time.

This has been working in the past. Not sure what else to troubleshoot? Help!

Let's try to get your WiFi extender working again, @findharshal.

Have you tried setting up your WiFi extenders again? What is the model of the WiFi extender you are using? Have you tried rebooting your gateway?

Remember you can also use the smart home manager to set up your WiFi extender.

Please let us know if this helps!

@ATTHelp thanks. Resetting router first and then resetting extenders did the trick
