ATT Speed Test Server removed?
I have ATT 1 gig fiber service. In the past, I've tested my internet speed from Ookla Speed Test (app and website) and the ATT's website, mainly getting the 2-3 ping times and the promised speed of 940 up and down. However, I noticed recently that the ATT servers were no longer listed on any site or app to perform a speed test...including the ATT website. Right now the only way to see if I'm getting my promised speed is to test it from the Modem GUI. Have the ATT speed test servers been permanently removed from these tests? Any recommended servers to test the speed? Any info is appreciated.

There won't be anyone here who can answer that with any authority as this is a customer-to-customer forum.
In other forums people have posted that they reached out to Ookla about this and gotten zero response.
The fact that AT&T's own speedtest site is no longer using their own servers makes it clear to me that they've moved on from providing their own test servers, for whatever reason.
I have regularly tested the alternative servers in the Ookla app and since my wired speeds were always in the 930-940's with the AT&T server, I just picked the one alternative that consistently agreed with the AT&T server results.

We're here to help @DynamicHispanic, with ways to test your internet speeds.
Learn how to test your internet speeds. Also, you can use the Smart Home Manager app to test speeds as well. Please let us know if that helps.

Seems silly to remove from the most popular testing. Worked great for testing in network speeds. Ugh... and no info about it is kind of rude. Just more something id expect from comcast before att...

While AT&T isn't providing access to their speedtest servers to third party companies, you can still test directly to an AT&T server by going into the gateway and running Speed Test under the Diagnostics tab. That's a direct test from the gateway to their server, with no Internet sidetracks to cloud the results.
