Alarm Light ONT

Came home yesterday to no internet. Call this morning to resolve issue and they say tech is the only way to fix it and that’s not until Tuesday! Anyone know of an alternate troubleshoot that I can do?

If that light is red then there's really nothing you can do.  Some have advised removing the fiber cable from the ONT and attempting to clean it.  That's a Really Bad Idea and likely to make things worse.  I'm going to take a stab and say that if the line was functioning perfectly well up until that point, some AT&T field tech working on someone else's home nearby accidentally caused your outage.  Let's hope it's something simple and not a fiber cut that requires line maintenance to follow up after the tech visit.

Good solution and close to the exact diagnosis. Our fiber runs across 2 yards. Our neighbor just plugged their yard. The bury contractor failed to bury deep enough and voila! No internet.
