AirTies 4971 Ethernet Backhaul?
Does the 4971 support wired, Ethernet backhaul? I understand Ethernet can be used to pair the device to the router. That's a different use case from wired backhaul, which reduces WiFi traffic and latency.
Also, is the 4971 the only current WiFi extender available on the AT&T store? It's not clear which model I'm adding to my shopping cart.
Thanks!

Could you make a hyperlink out of that please, so that it's "clickable" from this page?

Has anyone found a way to access the ‘real’ WebGUI for these devices? ATT takes the Airties FW, dumbs it down for us, locks it down, and gives us very little to configure. I remember my 4920 and flashing it to factory…all user options were on it. Then ATT flashed it. They are gone now ha ha

I could've sworn I already posted this somewhere on here but I can't seem to find it right now. First of all, obtain the IP address of the AirTies 4971 from the AT&T modem (hopefully a BGW320-505) or however else you choose to do it (192.168.1.XXX), type it into your browser and access the range extender's login screen. (You may get some kind of scary message about "This connection is not secure" or some-such; ignore it and keep on going) The default "Username" is 'admin' and the default password is an alphanumeric group of letters, symbols & numbers found on the blue label on the end of the box it came in following the characters "W/P:". About the only thing this allows you to do is change the password to something of your choosing for future reference. It has some "Status" and "Report" screens but I have not found 1 other thing that's "user configurable", save for the Firmware Update button, which I suppose you should try just to be sure you're current. I guess there may be some future purpose for being able to access this (essentially non-functional) GUI - other than a firmware update - but whatever it is, is not apparent at the moment. It does give you some geeky info about the unit though, I suppose. You can try it out just for fun, if nothing else...
