Will Never Use ATT Again!

Terrible service!!  I will never use or recommend them to anyone!  We recently moved and signed up for AT&T internet service at our new place.  Everything was fine at first, but after exactly one month our internet stopped working.  We looked at our account online, only to find out our service had been cancelled without any indication to us.  When we reached out to find out why, it turned out that they started new service at our house for Someone that doesnt live here!  How does that even happen when you have to provide proof of occupancy to setup services? We sent them proper documentaion again showing we lived here, but after 24 hours it still wasnt working. My Wife was on the phone with them for hours the following day to get it sorted out, their ONLY solution was to create a new account for us but said that it would not become active for another 4 days!  How does it take that long to turn our internet back on!!  Also, how is that an acceptable solution?  Have our internet shut off for a week at no fault of our own when it was fully their fault our service was messed up??  There was no offer to make things right either, other than not charging for the "unused days".  We requested to send our equipment back, we are not going to stay with an unorganized company that treats their Customer's this poorly.
