Depends on type of service, and where testing to....

 

FTTP, direct fiber testing locally to ATT site should be single digits while the same area on FTTN (Fiber To The Node, last mile copper) to same site will be in the mid 20s due to interleaving.

used to be 2-4ms, but AT&T took their speedtest servers offline so now you are forced to be routed around for a test, and usually get 13-15ms with a 1gig fiber connection

Speedtest on my BWG320 to AT&T averages 7.5 ms. Speedtest.net is around 18ms. This is FTTP.
