Unethical bait tactic to get you signed up for service; BEWARE OF ANY VISA GIFT CARD DEALS

Signed up for 1yr contract fiber internet with supposedly promised $100 Visa gift card.

I never received any form of notification (neither email nor regular mail) about claiming the gift card

I was never informed of "120 Days" expiration clause. Now because it's been over 120 days since installing the service, at&t cannot honor the gift card.

at&t needs to do better job of informing their customers of any sort of expiration on rewards and make sure customers get what they deserve.

I can work extra day to just make another $100, no big deal... but what makes me upset is this corporate is capitalizing on their unethical sales tactic not caring about their customers once they bait them.

After reading numerous complaints of similar happenings with other customers on this forum, it just boggles my mind why at&t is letting its reputation go down the drain.

I will be terminating the internet service and also moving my wireless service with different carriers

I've been loyal customer of at&t, since the good ol days of Cingular back in 2004. But now, at&t is losing another long-time customer, not only that, I'll be on a mission to expose at&t's bait and switch tactic for anyone who is thinking about going with at&t services

Depending on what the offer was, certain restrictions apply in regards to the rewards center. You can learn more about what can be done by contacting us at our main rewards center number at 800-288-9983, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (CST), Monday through Friday.

Good luck, ive tried this line several times to get the promo honored by using that line. The automated service cannot locate the account or address, then once transferred to agent (long long wait time), you find no resolve. The last time I called, it took 25 minutes to reach an agent, and i was actually sent to the spanish line instead of english. Since i dont speak spanish and the agent didnt speak english, the call was ended. What a scam....
