Reset 2.4 password

I have a 5G account but have an old 2.4 account I need to access but I forgot the password and can't recover it. It needs to be a WPA2 password. How can I reset it?

Thank you for reaching out @fthiel11. We hear you, and we'd be happy to assist.

To reset your password, you can do it through the Smart Home Manager app.

Don’t have the Smart Home Manager app yet? Download the app from the Apple App store or Google Play store.

Change your name or password.

Use Smart Home Manager from a computer to update your Wi-Fi info.

Your Wi-Fi gateway comes with a default Wi-Fi network name and password. You can change either one.

  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Scroll to the My Wi-Fi card and choose Change next to the name or password.
  3. Select X to clear existing info, then enter a new name or password.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Reconnect your devices with the updated network info.

Can’t access Smart Home Manager? You can always update your Wi-Fi details with a device connected to your network from your gateway or hub settings screen. Make sure you have the Device Access Code from the label on your device.

Hope this helps!
