Poker Stars Issues

Is there a reason I'm having issues when I play Poker Stars? Takes forever to load, then gets cutoff multiple times while trying to play. I have the same issue when I try to load the app on my phone until I use cellular service. Then it works fine. So it has to be the internet.

Hey, @TurboTodd.  Let’s see what we can do to help.

Is this the only site you have trouble with? Or are you having overall slow browsing?

Try resetting your router.  This is often overlooked and can help resolve some smaller and intermittent issues.

The next thing you can check is going to be your firewall settings. Make sure everything for PokerStars is set to Allow All rather than Block All.

You might need to open some ports. A quick internet search should identify the needed port numbers and we have a step by step guide to Port Forwarding for each router we offer.

Let us know if you continue to have trouble,

Hi Meaghan,

I just started this service and so far that site seems to be the only one experiencing issues. I plugged the router into my laptop and clicked the link you shared. It ended up and some site called CommScope.com and I didn't see anything on that page about a router firewall. Maybe I don't have the 2wire Gateway they are mentioning. I've reset the router several times. Router is a BGW210.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you for getting back to us, @TurboTodd

It’s good to hear this is the only site causing trouble and thank you for letting us know the router you have.

The firewall link mentioned in the previous post would not apply to the BGW210, our apologies.  You may still need to check the computer firewall settings through its control panel.

Go ahead and try to open the ports used by PokerStars software: 443, 26002, 22, and 80.  Access our Port Forwarding steps and choose the BGW210 from the drop down.

Once you have access to the NAT/Gaming section, follow the steps for Custom Services. Because we are opening specific ports, you will need to create an entry for each number.  These ports are TCP and the Global Port Range will match: I.E. 443-443.

Once you get the ports opened, try the site again.

We look forward to continue working with you,

It never lagged for me before, thought I am always using it on mobile Prolly its ur internet. I am always playing on slot online casinos games on my phone and It almost never lags, it lags only when my internet goes down, but the apps themselves are not so laggy. Well, nonetheless those games bring me alot of earnings and I can afford myself even a mercedes-benz considering that it's just a game lol. I see why so many people get themselves to millionaire or billionaire level on those things, because they perceive them as games and not something serious.

I played it only a few times but I had no problems with it in the past. I actually do not really like poker but instead am more of a fan of slots. I have a few apps that are like online free casinos but they are not very fun. I prefer real life casino. I have been playing a lot of online casinos since the pandemic started and I am stuck at home and have no idea when I will be able to go outside. I have tried a lot of different game rooms so to speak but one of my favorite ones is ign88.co. I like it a lot because they have a large selection of games from slots to poker to blackjack and everything else you can imagine. They also used to have bonuses for newbies but I am not sure if they still have it. Hopefully it will bring yo as much fun as it does me.

I've also only played a few times, and I don't take this activity very seriously, because I'm quite an emotional person, and I can come to that time to be addicted to these games. I play so often when I have multiple apps, but most often I use the app boostcasino.org . In general, if I also play online poker, I do it in my free time in the evening, which I still relax, but I play on the demo version of versie, I don't spend a penny, even if I know it's a good way to make some money, which I really don't believe. There are a few games out there, even blackjack.

I don't really care about other games. I just want to have the connection stay connected. Hit and miss still.
