Military/Veterans Discount

Who agrees the Military/Veterans discount is a Complete Farce? A Bait and Switch to those who sacrifice for America?

The Military/Veterans Discount all sounded great..save $15 on Internet and $15 on Uverse TV!! I thought the AMERICAN Telephone & Telegraph [AT&T] was really going to show respect for

Military/Veterans with a substantial Savings..

..until you try to upload your ID and realize it's a SCAM! You must use all three services in order to receive the discount that Military/Veterans so desperately need. You must have Wireless Cellphone Service, Internet Service, AND uVerse/Direct TV!!! Don't have them? Well AT&T has a Handy-Dandy "Shop Now" button to lure you into a phone you don't need just because the camera is better! So, buy a new camera!

Very disappointed with American Telephone & Telegraph!!! They don't really respect

SO you are saying I need to register with Veterans Advantage and then pay them for a plan to get my Veteran Rewards card just to prove I am a Vet.

AT&T Why don't you use Vet Verify it is free to the Veteran and used by the Exchange for verification. Now the Exchange is open to all honorably discharged Vets - and Tax Free.

And as far as bring your Drivers License with Veteran status... yeah, I did that at the AT&T store in the Mall of Georgia and they said they don't accept that as valid.

A Veteran must present an Honorably Discharged DD-214 to have "VETERAN"
status placed on their SC-Govt issued Driver's License or Identification
card and AT&T won't accept that as valid?!
Their entire discount procedure is just a ruse to get people to order more
services!

I submitted proff I'm a Veteran when I started with att.  Submited proff again 30 days later.  3 months later checked on status, att customer service still does not show  I submitted for the discount.   As far as I can see the Veteran discount is a sham.

The veterans discount is absolutely a scam. I am active duty. When we signed up for our plan they took a photo of my ID in the store and said the discount would be activated. I have been in the store multiple times over the past year and they say it will take 3 months to active. It never does. I talked to customer service today and they now are telling me my plan doesn't qualify even though I was told it qualified when I signed up for it and that it was eligible every time I've been in the store. We switched to Verizon today.
