LOSS OF DOWNLOAD SPEED

I had the basic 6 internet  ... my speed generally showed at 3. something for download and don't remember the download...   I just had the 

Fiber100 installed - the 100mbps internet...   when I run the speedtest  it gives me a download speed of .33    WHY has the speed dropped so much with the faster internet?   my upload speed went way up from what it was, but the download speed has dropped a huge amount.... 

       Bringing up some websites they come up pretty quick, some come up very slow and MY email is very slow trying to bring up what is in my mailboxes...

Let's get you the help you need @Mamacat104 in regards to your internet speeds.

Can you please run a speed test and post the results using our AT&T Speedtest tool?

Also, we have the Troubleshoot and Resolve tool which can help find and resolve any issues you may have.

I just ran the speed test 5 minutes ago  and the 

download speed is  .33 mbps

  upload speed is 32.9 

  latency is 24ms

 

     A tech is suppose to come to the house but I don't know what time now.. they delayed my appt because they said somewhere there was an outage.. mine is working but slow slow... 

     the box on the wall fell off last night when i was talking to ATT Repair

Problem has been solved...   the tech came and checked everything out and the problem is my WiFi adapter... 

 I am now using a D-Link WiFi adapter and have much better speeds now...
