Keep getting redirects to a registration page while browsing internet.

I set up my internet today, my smart home app is all set up, and yet every so often when I try to browse certain websites (seems like .org seems to be a culprit), I get a pop-up telling me I need to register my account or download the smart home app.
If I click continue, it has me enter my account number and then sends me an email with a verification pin to enter.
After that, I have to close the page because it doesn't actually redirect me anywhere, and then if I try and go to the website again, it just makes me "register" again.

This is absolutely ridiculous, especially because I couldn't even get the service to work without having someone from tech support fix some settings.
What on earth could I need to register that I haven't done already?
It's literally preventing me from being able to work because I have to switch to a hotspot to bypass the redirect.

This is the link it sends me to: https://lsreg.att.net/LSRegGreetingsPage.html

Edit: I guess this is a fairly common problem, yet nobody has a solution. Now I get to wait on the phone again for tech support.
Absurd
At this rate ill never get the sign up bonus they dangle in your face and then make you wait months to get

Was the issue ever resolved? If so, can you please update the post. We are experiencing the same issues... Thanks in advance.

Any updates on this? Myself (and apparently hundreds of other people) are having problems similar. That registration page is stopping me from connecting any device without a true web browser (PS4, firestick, etc)

I recommend chatting with AT&T support as they knew exactly the issue I was having and was able to fix it in 5 minutes. I've been struggling with this issue for weeks and avoiding picking up the phone because I had a feeling I would be on the phone for hours and nothing would be fixed. But the chat support completely resolved the problem!

I have the same problem.  It's annoying and time consuming to say the least.  Most times, when I follow a link from my email I get re-directed to AT&T's registration page and believe me, my acct. is already registered.  Want to print a return label for something I purchased online?  Nope!  Want to buy tickets to an upcoming show? Nope! I get re-directed to AT&T to register my account for the thousandth time.  Even after re-entering all of my info, I still can't do what I want to do.  Ridiculous!  I've already spent hours on the phone with them and I swear, the last person I spoke with just gave up on the problem.  I'd love to do the same, but I don't have that luxury.  She eventually said it's an issue with the site I was on, the originator of the email.  It isn't.  It's happened so many more times from other sites.  Oh, and I have AT&T email.  I've done everything they told me to do, but the problem persists.  This must be resolved, but I don't know how.  Any and all advice will be appreciated.

A happy update :  I know longer get redirected to AT&T's registration page every time I click on something from my email.  I called them again and they reset my modem.  Problem solved!  Yes, it took 45 minutes to check everything else and answer questions, so allow enough time for that.  Still, it had to be done.
