Inquiries related to Auto Pay settings (internet)

I set up AutoPay(internet) and the following message came out. Is it set up properly? What should I do?

AutoPay is scheduled for Mar 29, 2023.


Your AutoPay isn’t ready, so keep your same payment method until we notify you. We’ll apply eligible credits to your account on the scheduled AutoPay day.


Did you know? If you use a bank account or debit card, your AutoPay date would be around the 15th of the month.
eads up:  Using a credit card with AutoPay? We’ll charge your credit card eight days after your billing cycle ends. If you use a checking or savings account or a debit card for AutoPay, we’ll charge your account or card on the payment due date.

To get started, we'd recommend checking out our information on how to Sign up for AutoPay. At the bottom of the page you'll where it says it can take up to two bill periods for AutoPay to start.

 

Until the AutoPay to completely set up you'll need to pay at usual in on of the following places:

  • Paper bill: Look in the upper-right corner of the first page.
  • Online: Go to myAT&T Account overview and check in the Total balance section.

This is the reason why you received the message that you did.
