I need outbound port 25 unblocked
I need outbound port 25 unblocked to be able to run my mail server. I just ordered Fiber Internet service along with 5 static IP address and intend to connect my own legitimate mail server to it.

Let's get this figured out for you, @dlcook.
Port 25 or SMTP is blocked for all residential customers. We are unable to unblock it. If your account is registered as business, please let us know and we can proceed further.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

Well it says at you could use it for this on your website address, https://www.att.com/support/article/u-verse-high-speed-internet/KM1002300
When a static IP might be useful
A static IP is useful for consumers and many small businesses that have minor needs such as:

Hi, @dlcook.
There are a lot of Ports that we block for specific reasons, and Port 25 is one of them.
Port 25/TCP may be blocked from customers with dynamically-assigned Internet Protocol (IP) addresses to protect systems from becoming a mail relay for SPAM.
Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Its amazing how you can have Level2 Technical support that doesn't even understand what SMTP and a mail server is!
I called and spoke to somebody, I explained that I am setting up my own mailserver and I need to have Port 25 unblocked so that I can sent outgoing emails.
The lady politely asked me what the email address that I used to send an email, I told her that I used an email with my domain. She then said that was the problem, they only deal with ATT email address and she can't help with this.
Amazing and very disturbing . . . !@#$

Hi,
We have u business account. We need port 25 opened. Please remove all firewall rules. On the device, we should have all firewall features disabled already , as we have another security device behind.
I'll PM you our account # and a company name.
Thank you.

Hello, I'm having the same issue. I had to push the technical support, I believe two gentleman in the Phillipines, to understand what ports are. They said that they opened up port 25 for me, but it's still not open. I am still unable to access the email server that hosts the online business that I currently work for because ports 25, 993 and 465 are blocked. I have been on the phone for 2 hours and this is insane. Can someone help?

Just for reference port 993 and 465 are not blocked. Here is the list of ports AT&T blocks on residential lines.

I am in the same boat. We are business users with Static IP blocks. I have been unable to get anyone that will unblock port 25, so I can get our email server up and running again after moving to a new location. So that you know, Comcast Business handled this request in minutes.
Please let me know who I should contact to get this resolved. Thank you
