Guest Wifi on Gateway User Interface versus Smart Home Manager

I have set up a Guest wifi account via my Gateway User Interface but it is not reflected in my Smart Home Manager application. Is this a known issue?

Thanks for reaching out to us. Let's shed some light on your concern and get the help you need!

We understand you will lose all the information that was there, but you will need to reset the gateway as it will get you back to the original settings or default settings. Therefore, you will be able to manage guest Wi-Fi in smart home manager.

We understand your concern with regard to your Guest Wi-Fi account. We're here to help!

Since you've already set up the Guest Wi-Fi account using gateway user interface. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Log out of the Smart Home Manager app and log back in using your credentials.
  2. Restart the app, reboot your gateway, uninstall and reinstall the application.
  3. Check the web version of the Smart Home Manager to see if the guest network is missing there as well.

If none of these steps work, you can try performing a factory reset on your gateway by following these steps:

  • Locate the small red button and pinhole on the lower rear of the gateway.
  • Depress the button for approximately 15 seconds.
  • Please be informed that, this will return all gateway settings to a default state. Any custom Wi-Fi passwords, Wi-Fi names, SSID, Static IP, and Port Forwarding rules will be lost.

Both the app and web don't show the guest network. A gateway reset will have to wait.
