Can't play Consoles online (PS, XBox)
Since I got home from work this morning (roughly 11am) I have been unable to play my Gaming Consoles Online. My internet is fully functional with the exception of playing games on my consoles. My PC has Zero issues, I can play online. This is only effecting my Playstation and my Brothers XBox. I talked to my neighbor that I game with and he's having the same issues. Can't play his Playstation online either (we can connect online and use Party Chat, we just can't play anything. No games, no Netflix (or other media apps)). I've done a factory reset on my router, rebooted all devices, used the att online help (found no problems, when there obviously is). Everything was working just fine last night. Anyone able to help???

I also am experiencing this same issue in the Fort Worth area (Hurst). This began yesterday for me as I began to game on Destiny 2 around 9:30-10pm CST. It is still happening to me today. I have internet connection and can connect to some games and most websites, but I will intermittently be kicked for timing out on some connection or fail to load a website or download a file.

Post what you find out. I know that I took my GW out of the loop (there are ways) and ran my connection right from my router and still the same issues.

Same exact issues for me, started yesterday morning and continuing on today. Spent 2 hours with xbox tech support, gone through all the troubleshooting. Narrowed it down to networking issues. Restarted and port forwarded. Reset configs and tried again and still no issue. Everything is connecting and has internet access as I can send messages on xbox but cannot play any game online hence the no online connection.

Hurst also to be more specific. Last night I even tried setting my PS5 on passthrough connected directly to the router and that still didn't work.

Let's see what is going on with you internet connection, @peybrous!
Are you able to run a traceroute to the game servers? If so, please do that and share the results here. This will allow us to see where the connection is dropping.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Let us know what troubleshooting options you've tried, jsmoorman, and if you have any 3rd party equipment connected, like a router or switch, so we can determine how to proceed.

POSSIBLE WORKING SOLUTION
Don't know if Att helped me in the back or if what I did just solved it
In Xbox -> Network Settings/Advanced Setting/ DNS
For Primary IPv4 DNS please enter: 1.1.1.1
For Secondary IPv4 DNS please enter: 1.0.0.1
I seem to be able to connect to Multiplayer
Note: Strict NAT Type though
* Played a game of Battlefield 2042, restarted XBOX and now back to the same issues. Can't connect.
