Cancel Service

I am approaching 65 minutes on hold to try and cancel my att uverse subscription and my internet 100. at this point should I just go to my bank and fill out an unauthorized electronic funds transfer since I am unable to cancel my account due to them intentionally putting my on an endless hold ?
