Being Charged $10 more than quoted and it is REALLY bothering me.
OK, so I finally had ATT fiber installed at my house this month. When I spoke with the customer service rep I was told that my bill would come to $90 plus taxes/fees. I just received my bill via mail and it is $10 more a month than quoted ($100 vs $90). I spoke with this guy for a while regarding this fee, I was told the $90 was a flat fee (I wouldn't have to subscribe to auto-pay or jump through any other hoops). He also explained that my bill would be cut by $10 a month if I decided to bundle it with mobile plan within 30 days which I was seriously considering doing until I received this bill.
I feel very deceived and am extremely upset, is this a standard practice for this company? What regulatory agency do I file a complaint with because this is pretty shady?

I signed up for ATT Internet 1000. It's the first and only thing I have signed up for through ATT, I do not have anything bundled and this kind of shadiness is a big deterrent for me add anything else.
I've read the offers online, thanks for the heads up. The fine print says nothing about the price including $5 off autopay and paperless billing. The customer service agent that I spoke with emphasized to me that the line item on the bill would read $90, that plus fees and taxes, which could vary by region. I wouldn't mind at all if there were a separate line item discount of $10, as long as the end result is what I agreed to which is $90 a month plus taxes and fees.
Is it too much to ask for a company to deliver on what was agreed upon?

I spoke to an agent today. Apparently the promotional pricing was never attached to my account. The agent was helpful in getting the situation resolved, I now have what is offered online.
I am unsure that the $5 off special for auto-pay is still available so you might want to double check that. If it is, please send me a link that explains it because I can not currently find it on the website. (I do remember it being there when I was first researching alternatives to Spectrum but the deals and webpage have changed since then).

I just had the same thing happen to me. I was quoted $90/month for Internet 1000, and I get a bill for $100/month. This is class bait and switch tactics. I am writing my attorney general and filing an FTC complaint. This is the second time they have done this to me.
