At&T agent registered a wrong email

Hi, I’m Shelly.

The At&T agent configured my account under the email:

[email scrubbed] and this is not my email!

I already sent a forms to change my email, reached out the support more than 10 times and no one solve my problem. Over 3 months with the same problem.. is it that hard to change my email to the correct one? Really????

We understand your concern and let’s get the help you need!

 

To change your email to the correct one on AT&T, you need to123:

  1. Go to my AT&T Profile.
  2. Select the account to update from the drop-down at the top.
  3. Select the Phone, Email, or Address tab.
  4. Select Edit to update the billing email.
  5. Enter the new Contact email and save.
  6. Check your email inbox to verify your email address.

For problems that involve account creation, password resets, and account credentials, you may contact AT&T Digital Assistance Team.

If the issue still persists, feel free to contact Digital Assistance Center (877-273-2728) as they would help you out further!

I can’t login anymore, now even using the email i mentioned with the password!!!

After the form, it asked me to put the email I wanted, I did. The problem is, when I login with this new email and password it gives Care Error 201. If I press reset password, it is sending the code to the wrong email instead of the new one, so I can not recover it

If i try both the new email and the old email, seems like the account doesnt exist. 

if the problem were that easy i wouldnt be complaining here.

Just so you know:

When I had access to my account, the wrong one, I have updated my email to the correct one and did all the steps, I even verified it. Then it logged me out. When I tried to login again it was showing that my account with new email does not exist.


when i tried to recover the password of both, this is happening:

1. if i press forget password with the wrong email:

it sends the code to the wrong email.

2. if i press forget password with the new email.

it sends the code to the wrong email.

i reached out At&t and the agent asked me to fill a form and wait. I have been waiting more than a month!
