Address Verification Issue / Verified by AT&T Tech Representative
We are in a new home and the address isn't showing up as serviceable by AT&T although the two homes directly across from us are available for the full suite of AT&T products. This morning, an AT&T technician came by and verified that indeed our home is available for UVerse/Fiber Internet. Since we didn't have an active order there was nothing he could do about getting us installed, but he assured me if I passed along his report the customer service representative would place the order.
My hopes of it being that easy were quickly dashed after the first call to the sales account number. Now I'm left wandering through the myriad of 800 numbers trying to get someone who won't just keep repeating "I'm sorry but your address isn't available at this time". I've even offered to put the phone on three way and get the technician on the line but nobody will take up that offer.
