Nokia cell booster (femetocell)
I just received a cell booster from ATT. Model SS2FII femtocell multi-band soho. The power LED blinks white and the internet LED blinks orange. The Nokia manual says I need to open udp port 150, 4500, and 123 but I can’t open these ports without the IP address. Does this unit have a default IP? I can’t see it on my network yet my old 3g microcell works just fine using the same network cable. I don’t know how to get this working and no one from ATT can help.

Oh my....what a mess! I will wait for a week to see if At&t gets it together. Without the micro cell I just don't have cell service period, with the micro cell my calls still drop.
This cell booster scares me. I may not be able to make 911 calls if this doesn't get worked out.

@Bryanchiappelli Being as these are public forums, please do not post any personal information such as case #'s, etc. That just gives scammers/spammers/phishers another data point to harvest. You can use the 3 dots to the right of your post and Edit out your personal info.
I'm surprised that AT&T called you back. Typically they don't and it's something that they don't have to do. Let me (us) know if in fact they do resolve your issue on Feb. 2nd (or before). If they gave you a hard date, then it sounds like Engineering/IT is fairly confident that they have a handle on the situation.

@L2harris To be clear, with the current MicroCell you still get dropped calls? Was this always the case?
The new Cell Booster is still a femtocell like the MicroCell so if the MicroCell never worked adequately for you in your current setup, you may still have issues. It may be helpful to know how you have the current MicroCell setup.
My feeling is that there are going to be on-going issues with the Cell Booster for quite awhile longer until the dust settles, similar to what happened when the MicroCell was first introduced.

@L2harris
If calls were dropped with the previous microcell then something's not working right.
Do you have satellite internet?
The MicroCell will not work (at least well) with satellite internet it's only meant for Wired home internet, DSL, cable, fiber. .

Hi Thank you for the comments. Yes I would get dropped calls while on the micro cell. Less than when I first got it.
I have DSL from ATT for internet ( BGW 210 modem) and everything else for any communication. On occasion I would loose the internet connection altogether, call ATT and they would tell me, then send me, a new modem.....That was never needed the internet would miraculously be restored after about 12 hours and I would send to
he new modem back when it arrived.
I have not tried to install the new booster cell yet. Waiting to see how this clears up first. I do have to be able to call 911 for my Veteran. Made 8 of those calls last year.
Any suggestions ?

@GLIMMERMAN76 That's nice, but none of my friends cell phones work here no matter who the carrier is, unless I put them on the micro cell. The whole neighborhood is like this. There are small pocket areas where you can get service. It is very frustrating.
