The Cell Booster will go on sale soon for $229. If you were a previous MicroCell user with an active account you were sent one free. The Cell Booster is a femtocell, not a cellular booster. See my Tech Guide, link is in my sig line.
Hello Gods66word, we'd be happy to help you get signed up for the free AT&T Cell Booster.
If you're eligible an email will be sent to you with instructions on signing up for the device. Some customers have experienced some issues with the link.
Try these steps if you're unable to get into the website.
Let us know if this helps, and thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.

If you are not a current AT@T 3g Microcell user... there is no simple way to just grab and go with one.
My guts though say that when AT&T gets through the current wave of deployment to legacy customers, we'll see stock available in their E-store and Corporate operated Brick & Mortar locations.
I am so happy I found this group. I have spent over two weeks trying to get a cell booster. The links I was sent by AT&T did not work. I took the advice given here, turned off the Wi-Fi and used the sm.att.com/1e07ceed link & it worked. Thank you and God Bless!
@Soxwriter Excellent! Come back if you have any issues with registration/activation. And while you wait, check out my Tech Guide, the link is in my sig line.
I have just found this site in an effort to get a cell booster, as the official link did not work and no AT&T customer service could help out. I followed the link posted here and got the message that the ‘promotion’ has now expired. My cell phone does not work at home without a cell booster, which I have had for years. Please advise.
My cellphone doesn’t work at home without a cell booster. The link to replace with a new one did not work and no AT&T customer rep I spoke with could help. I have just followed the link posted here to a page saying this ‘promotion’ has expired. Please advise.
@AnneRW The free offer has indeed expired and was only available to those with an active old 3g microcell. They are also out of stock on the new LTE unit.
From what I gather, they will have some in stock soon. Keep checking the product page for it.
That said, WiFi-Calling is the preferred method for those with weak or no tower signal and a decent internet connection. Most phones support WiFi-C. Is there a reason you don't want to use WiFi-C? It's free and easy to turn on in your phones settings.
@AnneRW As mentioned, the free program is over, for now. The Cell Booster will go on sale in a couple of weeks for $229. The Cell Booster Pro will be $669. See my Tech Guide for detailed information on the Cell Booster. The link is in my sig line.
I haven’t been on here for a few weeks, but last time I was here I did let everyone know that I managed to get the link to work (in a rather corky way as suggested by someone on here). I got a response that my cell booster was on it’s way. I was even given an item number for my cell booster. To date, I have not received it but I am hopeful I am on the list to receive it since I completed the necessary paperwork.
My phone does not work well with the Wi-Fi, never did, and that is why I had a Microcell. My Internet service is with AT&T. LOL
I am not sure where I will go if I leave AT&T. T-Mobile has a huge (Edited per community guidelines) suit against them, for lying and basically screwing their customers. Huge (Edited per community guidelines). That sort of leaves us with Verizon??
I probably need to start hounding AT&T again. They are certainly screwing us, as we pay for a service each month which is not providing us with the phone service we are paying for. I was on the phone with my doctor’s office last week, and the call dropped. It is maddening, especially when it is a business you are calling. So difficult to get back to “a person” without going through a dozen hoops.
If I get any new updates, I will post same on here.
@Soxwriter If you have a confirmation email with an order number, then you can try, again, to call Support but you're best bet would be to file a complaint with the BBB. Those go straight to Corporate who, in turn, will have someone from the Office of the President contact you. They should be able to help you, especially if you have an order number from AT&T.
There is, and has been, a big disconnect within AT&T about the Cell Booster order so it wouldn't surprise me if your order just got lost in the shuffle.
To be clear, was the item number an order number or was it just the product number of the Cell Booster (SS2F11)?
It was a four digit number for the cell booster.
@Soxwriter Ok. If it's not the model number of the Cell Booster then that does imply and order number. You can try to call Support and give them the number, but given the disconnect within AT&T about the Cell Booster, it may go nowhere because they can't find a reference for it. Can you post what exactly the message/email said but please delete any personal information or identifiers. You can also "X out" the four digits.
I have Stankey’s Executive Assistant’s telephone number.
@Soxwriter Which will probably get you nowhere. I hope I'm wrong about that but filing a complaint with the BBB and/or the FCC carries more weight than attempting a phone call and is the appropriate action to take for the simple reason that it creates a paper trail.
In the past, with the MicroCell, AT&T did give out a free MicroCell after the promotional period had ended, but only on a case by case basis. I'm hoping that AT&T will do the same given the fiasco that the weblink address was but it is a whole new management team, on all levels, that is in place now as opposed to then so it's hard to say what they will do.
How can we improve?
