Need cell booster

I have one bar of service when I am at home. I need to boost coverage or switch to another provider. I am not far from civilization or a cell tower, but there are a lot of trees. Help!

@Gouldbusk  Read my AT&T Cell Booster Technical Guide, the link is in my sig line.

1. Download the Cell Booster app.

2. Connect an ethernet cable from the yellow WAN port of the Cell Booster to an open LAN port on your router. The connection needs to be a direct one (no adapters or extenders).

3. Connect the GPS antenna to the Cell Booster. Make sure you hear or feel it snap into place.

4. Place the receiving end of the antenna on a window or window sill that has an unobstructed view of the sky.

5. Power up the Cell Booster and fill out the info on the app, which is basically your name and location.

You need to have a post-paid AT&T cellular account, a land-based internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber) and a phone that meets AT&T's post-3G cellular requirements.

The “booster” ATT sells is actually a microcell and requires you have home internet service to work. If you want one of those, you need to buy it. ATT is not providing them free. If you do have home internet service, WiFi calling should also work. If your phone is WiFi calling capable, try that first. You may not need a booster. ATT does not sell actual boosters. If you do decide to get one, you’ll need to buy from elsewhere.

@Robynlynnwriter  Read my AT&T Cell Booster Technical Guide for all things related to AT&T's Cell Booster (which is not a cellular booster but a femtocell like the original MicroCell was).

If you are interested in a cellular booster, AT&T doesn't sell those but you

can read my Cell Booster Tech Guide for a primer on what they can and can not do. Both are linked in my sig line.
