GPS light has turned from white to amber.
Directions have been followed - but, after having been correctly set up and functioning for over a day, the GPS light has turned from white and is now amber.
What does this mean and how is it remedied?

@marindavid I will be posting an update to my Tech Guide sometime this week. The GPS issue is explained. It basically means that GPS Lock hasn't been achieved but the CB will then look for the marcrocell for location verification. If it can verify its location using that default method, you can still use the CB. You may have to move the CB around until you find a sweet spot and GPS Lock will remain.
The Internet light has nothing really to do with the GPS light, at least not directly.

This happened on one of mine about a day after it was first activated. According to the manual it means it's lost GPS lock, so make sure your GPS antenna is within a nice view of the sky.BTW the one that comes with the unit is designed to be stuck on a window, or the flat part to the sky.
Mine had a clear view of the sky and was still amber but it kept it's 4G LTE light on and was still operating. I left it alone for a another day and still amber GPS but still operating just fine, I power cycled the unit (keep it off for a good 10s+) and it came back all whites again within a couple mins and has been fine ever since. So, I dunno, mabey if it temporarily loses lock which can happen even in a clear view of the sky as you don't always have 24/7/365 gps coverage... mabey it's a software bug perhaps the light is just mis-programmed to not come back on when it gets a lock back after losing it temporarily?

@marindavid The service area towers are still being "tweaked" after the 3G shutdown so it may have had something to do with the local tower that is part of the GPS Location process. You also may have had an update pushed which will cause a reboot and if the location can't be verified, the GPS light will flash. Usually just another power cycle will take care of that. The GPS antenna must remain connected at all times but not necessarily in a window or on a window sill. I have an update coming soon to my Tech Guide (link is in my sig line) that discusses the antenna in a little more detail.

We'll be happy to assist you with GPS light @marindavid.
If your status light flashes, restart your Cell Booster. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for at lease 10 seconds, then plug back in. It may take up to 30 minutes for the status light to turn solid white.
If your internet is LED flashes orange or white, it's having an internet connectivity issue. Try these steps:
Make sure your Ethernet cable is connected to the WAN port on your Cell Booster and your router or gateway. If you have a modem and a separate router, try connecting your Cell Booster directly to your modem.
Check the internet connection on other devices.
Restart your router or gateway and your Cell Booster device.
If none of these fix the issue, get advanced help for firewall and routers.
Let us know how this help.
