What happened to Touch ID in the latest app update?!  It is no longer available!

Touch ID is still available as an access method for the App. What type of phone/device are you using?

There are two ways to access touch ID using your iPhone 8 Plus. If the first options does not work, use the second option.

Make sure you are using the latest iOS version.

 

First Option (Quick Method):

  1. Log out of your DL App
  2. Close the DL App
  3. Open the App, enter your login information AND select Save Password
  4. Sign in to your DL App and you should receive the Touch ID pop-up
  5. Select Touch ID as a login option

 

Second Option (If the quick method does not work):

  1. Log out of your DL App
  2. Uninstall the DL App
    • Long-Press the app icon on your home page
    • Select Remove
  3. Reinstall the DL App
  4. Open the App, enter your login information AND select Save Password
  5. Sign in to your DL App and you should receive the Touch ID pop-up
  6. Select Touch ID as a login option

 

 

That should get your Touch ID activated. :-)

Neither of those worked - I never got the Touch ID pop-up.

I just went through all the steps on an iPhone and the Touch ID didn't appear as you mentioned. I then exited the app and then reopened it to sign in and that is when I received the Touch ID pop-up.

 

If that does not work for you, please let me know the following:

  • What version of iOS are you using and what version of the Digital Life app are you using?
