How to bypass select motion sensors by choice

Hi.  I have a basement motion center and there are times when I set the system to stay that I want the motion detector to be active, i.e. bedtime.  However there are times when I need to be able to set the stay but still utilize my basement area because it's like a second family area.  Is there a way to create program via the tool/app to choose when the motion detector/sensor is active?  When I had ADT, I was able to "zone out" or "bypass" areas by choice.  This is one feature I do miss.
