2-3 minute delay when executing programs from my smart phone

For about a week now whenever I execute a program from the Digital Life app on my smart phone whether it be a program to turn on or off a smart plug, or another one to change the temperature on the thermostat, or maybe one that arms the system, turns the heat down, locks the front door, and turn off a smart plug, there is a delay of 2 to 3 minutes before the actions of the program are executed.  For example if I tap the shortcut to turn on a smart plug, 3 minutes later it comes on.  The same goes for another shortcut, even arming or disarming the system from my phone.

What suddenly happened.  It was working ok for several weeks?

@sbhenkel I recommend deleting the app and re-downloading via the app store. Once you have done that, turn your phone off and then back on.

Please post back to this thread if this does not correct the issue.

I have deleted the app and redownloaded it at least once since this problem started and I have also restarted my phone several times for other reasons since the problem started.

I'm having the same issue.....is it easy to reset the system or does a call have to be made to customer support?

We have Youtube videos that walk you through resetting your controller... Please click on the "Additional Troubleshooting Videos" link on the right side of this page.

From there, scroll down the Youtube page and find the video for resetting your controller.

I have a similar issue. I have door sensor on th man door to my garage. So when I arm the system any activity at that door activates the system. I have to make sure to disarm the system before I open the man door otherwise the alarm will sound. I tried this the other day and the app just kept spinning and spinning. It never did say the system was disarmed. So I took a chance and opened the door and went up the stairs to the back door. No alarm was sounding and the keypad said disarmed. Please get these bugs fixed, the app is almost worthless, which in turn makes the system useless for the owner to be able to rely on what the app is telling them when they are away from the residence.

The YouTube videos need updating and better narrative. I've been watching these videos since install and most leave a lot to be desired for actual clear instructions.
