Your IMEI number & device don't match
To whom it may concern:
G'day!
My workmate have lend/gave me his spare Iphone 5 locked with AT&T and I'm trying to unlock it in the device unlock portal. So far, my first four attempts has given me the same feedback with
Subject: Your IMEI number & device don't match and,
1st line in the body: We can't complete your unlock request right now.
Can somebody please advise what I need to do, or is there something I'm wrong with what I'm doing, to unlock the phone?

When entering the IMEI it should auto fill the make and model. Run it on Swappa ESN check and see what it says.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Below is the result from Swappa
Blacklisted = Not indicated. This device does not appear to be globally blacklisted.
Activation status = Clear. Device appears to be activation ready.
And one of the results under possible devices matches with the autofilled make and model of the IMEI.
Does this mean that the issue is possibly with AT&T side?
Can you please advise?
